Jim was a staple at NERC for many years, bringing several beautiful old Fords to the events since the late ’90s when we were part of another organization. Above is his much loved ’51 Ford Deluxe seen here in the early 2000’s. He also ran a ’47 Ford Tudor, a ’30 A and a ’52 F1. He won what I believe is a record number of TVs from the door prize pools, more than a few ‘Best in [category]’ awards, and authored more good times in my life than I probably even know. He will be missed. He is reunited with his beloved Johanne and is probably tinkering on some old piece of crap in the afterlife.

Jim is the reason I ever started rallying in the first place. I thank him very much for that.
