I know those of you who attended the Pumpkin Run this spring are still reeling from that, but we wanted to get some information out about the Penn Your rally in Beach Lake this fall.
Carol and I will be running our inaugural rally and we have already found the help from the “old masters” immeasurable! Jim Feeney and Louise will be setting up the course (progress on that front has already been made), Corky and Ryan (and maybe Tim) will be helping coordinate and scoring, Joe and Patty Roche and Jim Sr. will complete the all hands on deck for the fall.
THE DATES ARE OCTOBER 18, 19 & 20
Our host hotel is once again the Central House Resort just a few hundred feet from the firehouse. Please try to register as soon as you know you are coming. Their number is 570-729-7411 and remember to ask for the Northeast Rally Club rates.
Start thinking about the auction/raffle gift that we ask each team to bring to help raise money for our host, Beach Lake Fire Co. Your entry fee only covers the cost of putting on the rally and does not include a donation for our host.
Carol will be getting entry forms out in the mail in August or you can just pull one off the website.
We have picked out what we think will be a really nice venue for Thursday night also, just a few miles from the hotel.
